Eligibility Criteria
- All eligible participants from “Developing Countries” are eligible to apply. The list of countries that are eligible can be seen here (LIST OF ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES).
- Must hold a first-year university bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
- The most recent university degree earned within the last six years is required.
- Graduates in the fields of social sciences, political science, law, economics, and public administration are eligible for the DAAD Helmut Schmidt Scholarships.
- It must be a developing country.
- Applicants must submit their applications in either German or English.
- All Master’s programs have extra prerequisites that must be met by the applicant.
