Financial Benefits
The Chinese Government Award at the Dalian University of Technology is a fully-funded scholarship for international students. The following subjects will be discussed:
- The tuition fee will be paid in full.
- On-campus housing will be given for free.

- 3,000 CNY per month for a master’s degree
- 3.500 CNY/month for a doctorate

Documents Required
- CSC Application Form must be completely filled out.
- Copy of Passport (valid for more than 6 months).
- 6 photographs (3cm x 4cm).
- The highest level of education. Notarized translations in English or Chinese are required for documents written in languages other than English or Chinese.
- Transcripts in languages other than English or Chinese must be accompanied by notarized English or Chinese translations.
- A research or study plan must be written in either Chinese or English (no less than 800 words).
- DUT Supervisor’s Acceptance Letter
- Professors or associate professors from the applicant’s former university should write two letters of recommendation in English or Chinese.
- HSK, IELTS, TOEFL, and other tests are available.
- For the Chinese-taught curriculum, an HSK certificate (within the last two years) is required:
- For majors in Science, Technology, Management, and Economics, HSK 4 180 or higher is required; for majors in Humanities and Social Science, Philosophy, HSK 5 180 is required.

- Non-Chinese citizens in good health are required to apply.
- Applicants applying for a master’s degree must have a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
- Applicants for PhD programmes must have a Master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
