Brunei’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is offering this fully funded scholarship in Brunei. Full-time Diploma, Undergraduate Degree, and Postgraduate Master’s Degree Programs are all eligible for the Brunei Government Scholarship. All international students are welcome to apply for the Brunei Scholarship. For the year 2022, there will be approximately 300 Brunei Scholarships available.
Moreover, any applicants of any nationality from any country is eligible to apply. Participants from all over the world are welcome to apply and study abroad in Brunei Darussalam for free. There is no charge for submitting an application. Furthermore, there are no requirements for any English language test, such as the IELTS. Financial Coverage
Brunei Darussalam’s Government Scholarship is a Fully Funded scholarship for international students wishing to study in Brunei. The list of financial benefits is as below.
- Tuition fees, including acceptance, examination, registration, and orientation fees are waived.
- An Economy Class Round Air Ticket to/from Brunei Darussalam.
- A BND$500.00 monthly personal allowance
- A BND$150.00 monthly personal allowance and a BND$600.00 annual book allowance.
- Baggage Allowance for shipment of the scholarship recipient’s personal items to his place of origin/country of domicile after the program is completed, up to a maximum of:
- BND$250.00 to a country within the ASEAN region
- BND$500.00 to a country outside the ASEAN region
- For the term of the Scholarship, you will be covered by comprehensive insurance.

Eligibility Criteria
- Citizens of ASEAN, Commonwealth, and OIC member countries, among others, are eligible to apply.
- For Undergraduate and Diploma programmes, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25.
- For Postgraduate Master’s Degree programmes, you must be under the age of 35 on July 31, 2021.
- Permanent residents of Brunei Darussalam are not eligible for the award.
