The Government of Romania Scholarship is a Fully Funded scholarship to study at Top universities of Romania for a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree program. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Romania will cover all expenses. Participants of any nationality are welcome to apply. Every year, the Romanian government awards scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria
- Citizens from all other countries Except for European member states.
- It is not permissible to be a Romanian citizen.
- For bachelors and master’s degrees, you must be 35 years old, and for doctoral or postgraduate studies, you must be 45 years old.
Required Documents
Here is the list of required documents for Romania Government Scholarships 2022.
- Official letter from the diplomatic mission of the nation of origin in Bucharest, or the diplomatic mission of Romania in the country of origin or residence;
- The completed MFA application form (APPENDIX 1) for a scholarship in Romania;
- MER application form (APPENDIX 2) for obtaining a Letter of Acceptance to Study in Romania;
- Legalized copies of the achieved study diplomas (baccalaureate diploma or equivalent + bachelor’s, master’s, and doctor’s degrees, if any) and their legalized translation into one of the following languages, if required: English, French, or Romanian;
- Legalized copies of graduate school matriculation sheets/diploma supplements, as well as their legalized translations, where applicable;
- Certified translation of the birth certificate in one of the following languages: English, French, or Romanian;
- A copy of the passport (First 3 pages)
- The medical certificate attesting that the person enrolling in the study does not have any communicable infections or other disorders that would make the studies impossible to complete;
- The applicant’s curriculum vitae;
- 2 pieces of recent pictures, passport format.
The following documents will be included in the application file (only for candidates who fit into the categories listed for each document):
- Copy and legalized translation of proof of name change (where applicable);
- For current year’s graduates, the certificate attesting the passing of the baccalaureate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral exam – copy and certified translation;
- If applicable, a certificate of completion of the Romanian preparatory year or a certificate of language proficiency;
- In the case of juvenile candidates, a declaration of parental consent is required (in one of the following languages: English, French or Romanian).

How to Apply
The scholarship application is completed entirely online. The Romania Government Scholarships 2022 application deadline is March 15, 2022.
