Types of Scholarships
1. Provost’s Assistantship and Dean’s Scholarship Opportunities
The University of New Haven offers a select number of Provost’s Assistantships and Dean’s Scholarships to various academic departments within each College. All full-time domestic and international master’s students must submit their whole application packet for admission by the cutoff date in order to be considered for a Provost’s Assistantship or a Dean’s Scholarship.

2. Provost’s Assistantship
For new full-time domestic and foreign master’s students enrolling at the University of New Haven, this highly competitive programme offers two kinds of work possibilities. A Provost’s Assistantship is available to our most talented new graduate students. Students chosen for a position in this programme will work for an academic department for up to 15-20 hours per week (550 total hours per academic year). In exchange, students will get:

Types of Provost’s Assistantships
Research Assistantship
Students will assist in research that is being conducted under the direction of academic members, either on their own or for an administrative office that relates to their subject of study.
Teaching Assistantship
Grading papers, planning and instructing experiments, and coaching undergraduate students are just a few examples of duties. Department-specific duties will differ.
The following deadlines must be met by students in order for their entire application packet to be considered for a Provost’s Assistantship. The Priority One deadline for the Fall semester is March 1 and the Priority Two deadline is April 1. The Priority One deadline for the Spring semester is October 1 and the Priority Two deadline is November 1.
3. Dean’s Scholarship Program
The Dean’s Scholarship is awarded to full-time domestic and international master’s students who have demonstrated academic merit after a rigorous evaluation of their application materials. When they enrol at the University of New Haven, the programme offers up to 50% tuition support.
The following deadlines must be met by students in order for their full application packet to be considered for a Dean’s Scholarship. The Priority One deadline for the Fall semester is March 30, and the Priority Two deadline is May 1. The Priority One deadline for the Spring semester is October 15; the Priority Two deadline is November 15. If money remains available after these dates, Dean’s Scholarships might still be given out.
Eligibility Criteria
