These are three types of research scholarships that are being offered by UNSW.

1- Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship

This is a government-funded Research Training Program which is offered under HDR mean Higher Degree Research program at UNSW. The scholarship offers the following benefits:

  • Selected students will be funded with the amount of $ 28597 per annum as a stipend to cover expenses
  • Students will avail of full tuition fee waivers
  • Overseas Student Health Cover will be provided
  • 2 years duration Master by Research and 3.5 Years duration for Ph.D
2- University International Postgraduate Award (UIPA)

This scholarship is funded by the University of New South Wales for 2 years of Master’s and 3.5 years of Ph.D. with the following benefits.

  • A completed tuition fee waiver will be offered.
  • All students will be covered by the amount of $ 28597 per annum as a stipend to cover expenses
3- Tuition Fee Scholarship (TFS) plus a Research Stipend

This scholarship is offered by UNSW in which the tuition fee is funded by the university and the stipend will be provided by the research supervisor. Only Master’s for 2 years and a Ph.D. for 3.5 years will be funded.

  • An annual amount of $ 28597 will be provided to cover the expenses
