Eligibility Criteria
- Graduates have a fantastic opportunity to launch their careers and join a huge, well-known organization through European Union Traineeships. However, it is imperative that you read the qualifying requirements below before you begin your application.
- All EU citizens, regardless of age, are eligible to apply for the blue book traineeship (however the EU reserves some openings for non-EU citizens).
- Students who have completed a full cycle of a bachelor’s degree, a regular 3-year higher education degree with 180 credits, or an equivalent degree are eligible to apply.
- A degree completion certificate or official university confirmation of the degree must be provided by the applicant.
- It is not permitted to have prior employment with the EU Commission, its bodies or agencies, delegations, members of the European Parliament, or the EUCJ’s Advocate Generals. If there is any past experience, it should be no more than six weeks.
- Candidates must be fluent in two official languages of the EU.
- Applications with an international profile, as shown by their schooling, employment, or voluntary activities abroad, will be given more weight.
- Priority is given to applicants with specialized fields of study who have published articles and made contributions to their disciplines.
