Scholarship Benefits
The University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2023–24 in Brunei is a full scholarship that will pay for all of the costs associated with pursuing postgraduate degree programs at UBD. Below is further information:
- Waived Tuition at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Including Registration and Acceptance Fees.
- A 36-month subsistence allowance of BND 2,200.00 per month.
- On-campus Accommodation for 36 months.
- After obtaining the scholarship, they will receive one round-trip economy-class airline ticket from their home country, and after they finish their studies, they will receive the same ticket back.
- Field research allowances (BND 1000 for candidates in the humanities and arts and BND 2000 for those in science).
Scholarship Duration
The University of Brunei divides the scholarship duration into three categories, including:
- Master by Coursework: The Period of study will be twelve (12) months full-time or eighteen (18) months depending on the program.
- Master by Research: The Period of study will be twenty-four (24) months full-time.
- Doctor of Philosophy: Depending on the program, the minimum study term will be either sixty (60) months of part-time study or thirty-six (36) months of full-time study.
