Tips to Choose Chevening Scholarship Courses
- You have the option of selecting from over 12,000 Master’s Courses offered by over 150 different higher education institutions.
- At least three courses must be listed on your Chevening application. (This implies you must tell them your top three choices for courses).
- The Year Master Program includes all courses.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for British Chevening Scholarships in 2023, you must meet the following requirements:
- To be eligible for Chevening, you must be a citizen of a Chevening-qualified country or territory.
- After your award has finished, you must return to your home country for a minimum of two years.
- By the time you submit your application, you should have completed all components of an undergraduate degree that will allow you to enroll in a postgraduate program at a UK university. In the United Kingdom, this is often equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honors degree.
- Have a minimum of two years of work experience (equivalent to 2,800 hours).
- Apply to three separate UK university courses that are eligible for you and have received an unconditional offer from one of them.

Do You need an admission letter from University?
No. At present time, you do not need a letter of acceptance from your university to apply for Chevening. In your application, give preference to universities where you believe you have the best chance of being accepted. However, you might alter your mind during the interview stage.

Eligible types of work Experience
Only professional work experience is not required for Chevening. Applicants for Chevening Scholarships must have at least two years of work experience. The following types of work experience are eligible for Chevening:
