Eligibility Criteria
- The scholarships will be awarded to applicants who have been admitted into one of the approved Human Medical programs for the academic year 2022-2023.
- African candidates are particularly encouraged to apply for the Glenmore Postgraduate Scholarship.
- The awardee will be chosen based on academic achievement and the strength of a personal statement.
- Candidates must have received and accepted or be planning to accept an offer letter from the University of Edinburgh.
- Scholarship awardees will continue to work in nations that will benefit the most from their extra medical knowledge after completing their studies.
- Candidates must hold or expect to hold the worldwide equivalent of a UK first-class honors degree.
- Candidates must also submit a personal statement (maximum of 3500 characters) answering the following questions:
- What aspects of this curriculum drew the University of Edinburgh’s attention?
- How can earning this degree from the University of Edinburgh help you achieve your professional and personal objectives?
- If the candidate completes this degree at the University of Edinburgh, what will they be able to contribute to their community, region, or country?
- To be eligible to report on aid in 2021, candidates must currently reside in one of the countries included on the DAC List of ODA Recipients.

How to Apply
Students who meet the requirements should apply for the Glenmore Postgraduate Scholarship 2023 online. The deadline for the UK scholarship is June 2nd, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. BST. Furthermore, before beginning the scholarship application process, candidates must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh.
