- Candidates must be between the ages of 15 and 17 when the program begins.
- Students that are female must apply.
- Candidates must be citizens of one of the nations listed below as being eligible.
- Candidates must have a passion for math, science, and engineering.
- Candidates need to be proficient in the English language.
- They need to be prepared to pursue technology employment in the future.
- Candidates must be prepared to participate in a community service assignment after leaving the United States.
