Eligibility Criteria
- Non-Chinese nationals in good health who are not presently studying in China are eligible to apply.
- By September 1st, 2022, applicants for Bachelor’s Degree Studies must have a high school diploma (equivalent to a high school diploma in China), an HSK5 certificate, and be under 30 years old.
- By September 1st, 2022, the applicant for a Master’s Degree must have a Bachelor’s Degree and be under 35 years old.
- By September 1st, 2022, the applicant for a Doctoral Degree must have a Master’s Degree and be under 40 years old.
- Graduates who want to receive their degrees in 2022 should submit a Pre-graduation Certificate to assure that they will finish their studies and receive their degrees before July of that year.

Documents Required
In the Online Application System, upload the following documents:
- With signature and recent photo, submit an online application for a USTC scholarship.
- Photocopy of Passport
- A study or research proposal (no less than 800 words).
- Updated CV.
- Two letters of Recommendation Letters
- Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
- For both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, a photocopy of the degree certificate and academic transcript is required (if have).
